Music on South Mountain is a new singer/songwriter series that will be held each spring and fall on a farm near Michaux State Forest in Adams County (midway between Gettysburg & Shippensburg).

The first event was held on Saturday, March 27, 2010, and a great time was had by all who performed and attended. After a few prior days of some rainy weather, the clouds parted for a sunny afternoon of great music, followed by a continuation that evening at the Arendtsville Inn. Thanks to all who came out and made our first event a success.

We're now gearing up for our second event to be held Saturday, September 25, with music starting at 1:00pm. It is a family-friendly event, so please be responsible so a good time can be had by all. The event is BYOB and food--there will also be boxed meals for purchase at the festival. Come and spend the weekend listening to music on your lawn chairs or blankets.

A donation of $10 per person is suggested as the event is being held in support of breast cancer awareness (www.feelyourboobies.com).
